Now, we’re just hoping production ends soon and Netflix announces the season 4 release date in the next few months. Production is taking a lot longer than usual, according to star Gaten Matarazzo. We were expecting to see the new season in early 2021, but the pandemic forced production to be shut down. Stranger Things season 4 is currently in production right now.
